Depression is a chronic mental issue whereby one has the feeling of worthlessness and negativity without an obvious reason, this is different from grief or bereavement which is normal when you loss a relative or something bad happened to you.

We are saying when you are depressed, then you are not necessarily in a terrible situation yet you will feel so low , down and sad. Although grief can lead to depression if not properly monitored.
